For 4 trombones and tuba.

This piece ended up sounding like the theme music to a seventies BBC production of King Lear, you know what I'm talking about: dark backgrounds, weird clothes, garish tapestries, ridiculous hair (especially on the older actors), etc. It’s probably the close-harmony trombones that do it. It sounds very - what's the word? - chunky. It’s still a nice, dark number if you're into that sort of thing.
